Your HBA Turns 65 This Year!

There will be Axe Throwing, Giant Inflatable Crocodile Slide, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Inflatable Bowling, Burgers and more. PLEASE RSVP ASAP, so that we know how much food and drink to prepare. The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield received its charter in 1954 from the National Association of Home Builders. From the beginning, the HBA became the voice and advocate for construction professionals leading the way to protect and promote housing and preserve the American dream of home ownership. As a bonus for those searching for Quality Insured Home Professionals, the HBA has become a great resource for HBA Home Pros.

The first event the HBA hosted quickly became an annual event where HBA Builders could showcase the quality of their homes in the HBA Parade of Homes. Suppliers and sub-contractors (appliances, lighting, plumbers, electricians, etc) have also found this to be a great way to display their products, services and craftsmanship over the years.

Over the years, the HBA has added new events including the Home Show, the Remodeling EXPO and, most recently, Build My Future – a one day interactive construction career day for high school students.
