10 Ways to Celebrate the 4th of July in the Ozarks – Murney Associates Realtors

America’s birthday is coming up! And it’s all thanks to the brave men and women in our armed forces that we are able to celebrate our country’s independence. America is beautiful and we couldn’t have this wonderful country without the efforts of these people. So, let’s all thank a veteran this 4th of July. They deserve it!

#1 – LIFE360 FREEDOM FEST

Life360 is putting on one of the best fireworks shows in town, the Life360 Freedom Fest at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds! This event has free entry, free parking, and tons of fireworks to light up the sky. Gates open at 6pm and fireworks start at dusk. A few things to bring to the Life360 Freedom Fest: lawn chairs for seating, money for concessions (cash for some vendors), and 1 sealed/unopened bottle of water per member of your family. Note that coolers and pets are not allowed at the fairgrounds.

#2 – 4TH OF JULY FREE TRAIN RIDES

If your family loves train rides, and free things, this is the event for you! The Joplin & Springfield Railway would like to invite you to the free Fourth of July train rides on Saturday, July 1, Sunday, July 2, and Tuesday, July 4! The train rides will be from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. Each train ride includes a two-mile round trip lasting approximately 20 minutes. The railway is located one mile south on the Springfield-Branson National Airport on Airport Boulevard.

#3 – 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT LAKE OF THE OZARKS

Lake of the Ozarks has a ton of great things going on for Independence Day weekend! And there’s nothing quite like watching a beautiful fireworks display over the water. Check out the Facebook event for all of the festivities going on for July 4th!
