Charlyce Ruth serves as the CEO of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield. Charlyce holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and a minor in economics from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.
Charlyce’s professional background includes more than 20 years in the construction industry. While living in Seattle, Washington, she worked for a commercial construction company. She then moved to Springfield and worked for a residential construction company. At both companies, she was responsible for job costing and working with scheduling.
Since coming to work for the HBA in the fall of 1999, Charlyce has been instrumental in the planning of all of the HBA annual events, maintaining the financial records for the HBA, the HBA Charitable Foundation and the Coalition for Building a Better Tomorrow and serving as the staff liaison to the HBA Charitable Foundation. Now as the CEO, Charlyce is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HBA.
Charlyce’s husband, Jeff, is employed with the City of Springfield at the Springfield-Branson Airport. Jeff collects and restores antique tractors and steam engines, and serves on the Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Association board, The Steam Engine Association board and the Model T board.
