SFC Bank Announces Dedication for Charlie O’Reilly and Noel Boyd

Springfield First Community Bank is proud to announce the dedication of the Charlie O’Reilly Board Room and the Noel Boyd Bank Lobby in honor of two outstanding board members and community leaders. “Our bank is privileged to have such an outstanding leadership team in our board of directors. We are truly honored to have Charlie and Noel as founding board members. They have both made valuable contributions to our continued success, and although they are retiring from active board membership, we are blessed to have such highly respected and successful people continuing to be part of the SFC family in their board emeritus status,” stated Rob Fulp, SFC Bank Chief Executive Officer and Director. Charles H. “Charlie” O’Reilly, Jr. served as O’Reilly Automotive, Inc.’s President for eighteen years and Chairman for six years, prior to retiring. O’Reilly Automotive, Inc. is a publicly held company which began with a single store in Missouri to a business with over 5,420 stores in 47 states, $9.5 Billion in sales, and more than 82,000 team members. Charlie is a former board member of the Missouri-Kansas Automotive Wholesaler’s Association. He has been involved in many charitable organizations, including Community Partnership of the Ozarks, United Way of the Ozarks, Ozarks Fighting Back, Salvation Army, Council of Churches, and many more. He was the 2002 Missourian of the Year, 1997 Springfieldian of the Year, 1992 Philanthropist of the Year, and a 1992 Inductee into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame. “I have been fortunate to be a part of SFC Bank’s exceptional Board of Directors from its inception, and I look forward to its continued growth and success,” said Charlie O’Reilly. “The team at SFC truly puts the customer first. It has been a pleasure to work with them; they are the key to the bank’s tremendous success.”

Noel Boyd has served on the boards of many successful financial institutions in Missouri including:  The Signature Bank, The Bank, Empire Bank, Pleasant Hope Bank, Bank of Bolivar, Front Range Bank, and Trust Company of the Ozarks. Noel is generous with his leadership, as is he also past Chair and current Board Member of the Ozark Empire Fair Foundation and a current Missouri State University Foundation Trustee.
