If you have a crawlspace home, check it at least twice a year to make sure there is nothing out of the ordinary such as water leaks, termite damage, mold, etc. A quick lap a couple times a year can save you a lot down the road, most home insurances won’t cover slow leaks but those can cause thousands of dollars in damage.
Check caulking around the house, places to focus are showers, backsplashes, windows, etc. With cooler and dryer weather things can shrink causing gaps and when in a shower that can lead to water damage.
