Parade of Homes Cancelled – 2020

After much deliberation, the HBA Board of Directors has decided to cancel the 2020 HBA Parade of HomesThe safety of attendees, builders, homeowners, and the staff was at the forefront of this decision. Travis Miller stated, “decided that in the best interest of the HBA members, staff, and the general public that we will not be conducting a 2020 Parade of Homes.” Travis Miller went on to say, “I know this is disappointing to builders and vendors who had intended to participate in the parade. The current environment and the increase in COVID cases are not conducive to holding a public event attended; by thousands of people each year.”

Currently, plans for a 2021 Parade of Homes are in the works. Whether it will be a Spring Parade or Fall Parade depends on many factors, but the HBA is hopeful that things will be looking up in 2021.
