NAHB Economist Elliot Eisenberg to Visit Springfield for Events on November 30


On Tuesday, November 30th, NAHB Senior Economist Elliot Eisenberg, Ph.D., will visit Springfield to preview a local economic impact of housing study as well as providing several important presentations regarding efforts to get housing back on track and advocacy to deal with the local, state and federal regulatory threats to that recovery. As a Senior Economist with the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C., Dr. Eisenberg holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in economics with First Class Honors from McGill University as well as a Master of Public Administration degree and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Syracuse University. Eisenberg is a frequent public speaker on numerous housing and housing related topics including; the economic impact of homebuilding, the unintended consequences of government regulations on house prices, residential fire safety and how to reduce risk and boost profits using financial derivatives. He is the creator of the multifamily stock index and is the author of more than 45 homebuilding industry articles. Dr. Eisenberg is frequently seen on television and heard on radio and his research and opinions have been featured in Business Week, Fortune, many national and local newspapers, and in numerous other publications.
