The HBA’s March general membership meeting is nearly here. On Tuesday, March 15, get the inside scoop from several of the advocates who ensure housing has a seat at the table when Missouri’s legislators make decisions that affect the residential construction industry. HBA of Greater Springfield Lobbyist Scott Swain and HBA of Missouri lobbyist Jewell Patek will provide a legislative update regarding high priority bills including the measure to keep fire sprinklers optional in Missouri through 2019. There are a number of other high-priority pieces of legislation dealing with work comp and tort reform which could also have an impact on small businesses which these experts will address.
“This team has been instrumental in working on your behalf to educate committee members as well as the full membership of the Senate and House regarding the importance of the fire sprinkler bill this session,” said HBA CEO Matt Morrow.
