Come join a fun farewell dinner in Matt’s honor on November 13 as he prepares to head down South to lead the HBA of Birmingham, Alabama. We will start the goodbye ceremonies by duct taping Matt to the wall and pelting him with rotten eggs and tomatoes. Not really… although that would be fun for the whole family.
There will not be a full roast of Matt, but there will be some Grilled Hawaiian Chicken with some lighthearted jesting at Matt’s expense. If you have some grits, fried gizzards and sweet tea feel free to share so Matt can be prepared for the Southern Cook’n in his future. In addition, if you have any funny or interesting photos of Matt please send them to us ASAP and we will try to add your photos to our slideshow.
With all joking aside Matt will be missed and with this gathering we want to let him know how much he is appreciated for all that he has done for the HBA of Greater Springfield and the community. In his honor we will continue to use the cowbell to identify dates that require urgent attention. MORE COWBELL!
