International Builders Show Shaping up to be Great Event

Pre-registration for the show is up nearly 25% from where it was this time last year and exhibitors are coming back strong.

Excitement is building (pun intended) as preparations continue for the largest and most important annual light construction exposition in the world this coming February 8-11 in Orlando, Fla. With pre-registration running nearly 25% ahead of the same time last year and exhibit space sales going strong, the 2012 NAHB International Builders' Show is shaping up to be an outstanding event for all participants.

Officials with the National Association of Home Builders say they are expecting more than 50,000 attendees and more than 800 exhibitors on more than 400,000 square feet of space, along with an impressive lineup of nearly 200 education programs. More good news is that, by mid-October, more than 100 companies that are either new to the show or returning after an absence of more than two years had purchased booths for the trade show floor.

Clearly, these exhibitors understand that there are markets out there where the housing industry is beginning to turn around, and, like NAHB members, they're realizing it's time to get back to the big show. Without a doubt, the IBS remains the single best way for housing professionals to find the solutions they need to their business and construction challenges, and offers tremendous opportunities for our members to network with their colleagues and suppliers from across the country.

If you haven't yet registered, be sure to do so soon and get your hotel assignment by visiting www.BuildersShow.com. Orlando is definitely the place to be this February!
