The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield’s annual Home Show concluded on Sunday, January 29 with hundreds of exhausted but happy vendors and exhibitors packing up their wares to exit the downtown Springfield Expo Center. Overall attendance topped 13,100 for the show – once again reinforcing the HBA Home Show as the region’s largest consumer trade show.
The HBA Home Show is seen as an annual barometer that often provides an early picture of how the coming year’s home building and remodeling economy can be expected to perform. Vendors attending the show expressed enthusiastic and buoyed optimism in reaction not only to the size of the crowd, but also to the conversations they experienced with those in attendance.
