The cancelation of the 2020 HBA Parade of Homes, due to COVID-19, created a new opportunity. Magazines that were planned to be distributed during the Parade of Homes are now being distributed at HBA Member locations as well as multiple other outlets. Plans are to add to the list of distribution spots over the next 30 days so that all HBA Magazines end up in the hands of consumers.
What’s the Big Deal?
These magazine are a great resource for consumers who are looking to buy, build or remodel a home. Inside the magazine itself is a Membership Guide with members listed by category (members as of January 15, 2020), articles and HBA Builder Member profiles. That’s cool, but what’s new this year is the “Pocket Directory” stuffed inside of each magazine. “That’s awesome,” was the comment by Nola Shivers and Heather Smith with Decorating Den Interiors when a box was delivered to them. This directory is current up to July, 2020 and is perfect for consumers to keep handy in their cars, trucks, SUVs, home or office. In the past these directories were distributed only to HBA members.
Side note for those that advertised in the 2020-2021 Membership Directory. There were 3,000 more copies printed in order for them to be stuffed into 3,500 magazines. This is WAY more bang for the buck on advertising in the directory this year.
