Construction Sector Opens for COVID Vaccine March 29

The State of Missouri recently announced that they are opening Phase 2 for COVID-19 vaccination access starting March 29.

HBA of Greater Springfield members in all construction related industries should all be eligible NOW. There are appointments available through the Health Department as early as this Friday, April 2.

You will find directions for getting scheduled for vaccine appointments below or at Covidvaccine.mo.gov/navigator.

Please share this with your employees and make sure they are aware that they now have access to the COVID-19 vaccine!

We understand that there are many people in our community that still have questions and may have hesitations about getting the vaccine. We realize it can sometimes be challenging for employers to feel confident in responding to questions employees may have about the COVID-19 vaccine. The Springfield-Greene County Health Department offers a variety of tools and resources to help you feel more confident addressing these questions.

If you have questions about vaccine or scheduling appointments, you can also contact the COVID-19 hotline at 417-874-1211, email at coronavirus@springfieldmo.gov, and find general info at health.springfieldmo.gov/covidvaccine. If you would like to get registered and scheduled over the phone rather than online, please call 417-874-1211. To find out more information about setting up an onsite clinic at your business location, email coronavirus@springfieldmo.gov or call the outreach vaccine line at 417-874-2777.

We are all ready to get back to doing the things we enjoy and hugging the people we love. The COVID-19 vaccine is a tool we can use to help us get there!
