Connecting our Community to Savings – Energywise Rebates

ad_smartsolutions_overview

For nearly ten years City Utilities of Springfield has been encouraging customers to use our resources wisely by providing rebates for the purchase and installation of energy and water efficient items. Over 50,000 rebates have been issued to save enough electricity to power 12,200 homes each year, enough natural gas for 8,190 homes, and enough water for 6,400 homes annually.

Today the effort continues with no signs of slowing down! In fact, as City Utilities prepares for future regulations on electric generation, we will look to partner more with customers to help our community be more efficient. One step in this direction begins with the following rebates now available to customers:

  • Programmable Thermostats
  • Insulation Upgrades
  • High-Efficiency Toilets
  • Heating & Cooling Equipment
  • ENERGY STAR® Certified New Homes
  • Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® (energy audits and improvements)

To make the rebate process easier and faster, City Utilities offers the option of submitting your rebate information on-line. Simply complete the application and upload the required documents. You’ll receive updates and can track your rebate progress.

To help you get started, it’s important you know which contractors are qualified to do the work. It’s not only a priority for the HBA, but also for City Utilities. The Registered Contractors list is available for customers to locate local electricians, insulation contractors, plumbers, and HVAC professionals who have met basic insurance, certification and licensing requirements.

To learn more about the Registered Contractors list or details on all available rebates, visit www.cuenergywise.com, or call 417-874-8200.
