The 2025 HBA Home & Outdoor Living Show was a tremendous success, thanks to the tireless efforts of our committee members, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees. Here are some highlights:

  • Event Planning: Our incredible committee members and staff invested countless hours in making this year’s show a success. From monthly in-person meetings and sub-committee discussions to vendor outreach and implementing new communication strategies, the dedication was unmatched.
  • Advertising & Promotions: This year, we increased our advertising budget to reach a larger audience. Promotions ran across multiple platforms including television, magazine, billboards, social media, and even interviews on KY3’s The PLACE, ensuring strong visibility throughout the region.
  • Sponsors: A heartfelt thank-you to our 54 generous sponsors who played a vital role in bringing the show to life. Your continued support helps us grow the event year after year.
  • Industry Insider Night: This exclusive preview event gave HBA members and vendors a first look at the show floor—and it was a hit. Over 60 companies were represented during this special evening of networking and excitement.
  • Vendor Setup: Setting up a show of this scale takes serious effort—173 vendors worked diligently over 42 hours to prepare their spaces, creating an impressive and inspiring environment for attendees.
  • Volunteers: We couldn’t have done it without our 70 dedicated volunteers, whose hard work and commitment helped make everything run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Kid Pro Zone: Thanks to the support of Habitat for Humanity volunteers, kids enjoyed a fun-filled area all their own—packed with games, activities, and memorable moments.
  • Workshops: Throughout the three-day event, attendees had the opportunity to learn from the pros through engaging workshops featuring the latest trends, tips, and insights from industry experts.
  • NEW: Silent Auction: Our “Around the House” Silent Auction made its debut at this year’s show—and it was a hit! Featuring a variety of products and services generously donated by HBA members, the auction raised over $500. This exciting addition added a fun and interactive element to the event.
  • NEW: Rescue One Adoption Event: This year, we were thrilled to welcome Rescue One to the show for a special adoption event. For a few heartfelt hours, they connected adorable, adoptable dogs with loving families—supporting their mission to find forever homes for animals in need. It was a meaningful and memorable addition that brought smiles to both attends and vendors.
  • Attendance: With beautiful spring weather outside, we were thrilled to welcome 2,300 guests through our doors.
  • Event Tear Down: After all the excitement, the tear-down process was completed efficiently in just 12 hours, a true testament to our organized team and cooperative vendors.
  • Final Thanks: A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteer Board of Directors, Home Show Committee, and every single community member who contributed their time, energy, and passion. Your commitment makes this event a continued success—and we’re already looking forward to what’s next!
