Dori Grinder serves as Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield. Dori holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Missouri. Dori is a life-long southwest Missourian, growing up in Ozark, MO and currently living in Springfield, MO with her family.
Dori has more than a decade of hands-on experience in organizational leadership and managing membership development teams. She received the Greater Ozarks Leadership Development Gold Scholarship from Missouri State University in 2012 and is a Leadership Springfield graduate. Dori was recognized by the Springfield Business Journal in 2011 as one of the “40 Under 40” and in 2013 as one of the “20 Most Influential Women” in the business community.
Dori understands the value of connections and working together with community and business leaders to make the Springfield area attractive for growth. The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield is dedicated to excellence and advancement of the residential construction industry, its members, and the communities they serve.
Aaron Wahlquist serves as Communications Director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Missouri State University and a Master of Science in Communications with emphasis in Advertising from the University of Tennessee.
Aaron has been connected to the HBA since 1994 where he was in charge of the HBA Magazine and website for sixteen years. In 2010 he became a full-time team member at the HBA.
As Communications Director he is responsible for the coordination of all publications, e-publications, social media, website, advertising and sponsorship sales as well in-house graphic design. Aaron also works closely with ADsmith Marketing & Advertising in the branding of the HBA of Greater Springfield.
Miles Ross founded Veritas Public Relations in 2011 and began working with the HBA in the role of Government Affairs Specialist in 2013. Miles works closely with area municipalities and the state legislature monitoring building code changes and legislation that affects the building industry.
