We wanted to take a few minutes to thank all of our members for their hard work over the last year. 2013 brought us a fantastic Home Show and Home Remodeling Show along with a slowly improving economy. Your association continues to grow in strength and is ready for an exciting 2014. It has been a pleasure working on your behalf to create a positive business environment for you through advocacy, networking and education.
It’s hard to believe that 2014 will be our 60th anniversary! We’re willing to bet that when a group of builders got together in a living room, they never dreamed they were laying the foundation for an association that would last so long and accomplish so much. A huge thank you to the very first HBA Board of Directors – President J.D. Gillenwaters, Vice President Fred Riebold, Secretary/Treasurer Gerry Doran, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer John Glazona, Board Members Del Lurvey, Glenn L. White, Frank Foster, Roy Hessee and Lester B. Nichols – we are truly indebted to this group of gentlemen!
