JOPLIN —The Home Builders Association of Southwest Missouri will present the first ever “Meet The Builders Show” on Thursday, August 11, 2011.
Designed to bring victims of the tornado together with qualified, reliable builders, this show will give the public an opportunity to interview builders, while reviewing their portfolios and gathering information about the rebuilding process.
Also part of the day’s activities will be a series of short informational seminars that will provide information to homeowners on a variety of subjects. Guest speakers will include sustainable builder and developer Matt Belcher, from St. Louis who is the author of “Protecting The Earth and Your Bottom Line.” Representatives of MHDC will talk about their MoAid Program, and Consumer Credit Counseling of the Ozarks will talk about “Building Your Credit and Weathering the Financial Storm.” A complete schedule of seminars will be available at the show.
Join us at the Holiday Inn Joplin Convention Center for a day, packed full of information, designed to assist anyone in southwest Missouri to find a long term housing solution. Admission to the event is FREE and the public is urged to attend. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for one day only.
