April 19: Finally, the Answers to ‘What Does My Membership Do For Me?’

Maximize YOUR Return on Investment

In a quiet moment have you ever wondered “What does my HBA membership really do for me or for my business?”

It is the most common question prospective HBA members ask. And discriminating longtime members should carefully consider the same question when they receive their membership renewal forms annually. Now more than ever, HBA members are rightly evaluating their measurable return on investment for every dollar they spend. HBA membership offers a remarkable return for those who are aware of their opportunities to maximize their membership dollar.

That’s why the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield is offering members a new experience at its April 19 general membership meeting. The meeting will be held in a new location (come see the recently opened Hilton Garden Inn in South Springfield), and will provide members with an unprecedented opportunity to engage in their membership and maximize the value they receive for their membership dues.

“The most valuable thing we can do for our members is to actively engage them in their membership in the HBA,” HBA President Matt Bailey said.  “Member engagement is my top priority as president and it is front and center in our new strategic plan. That’s why this month’s meeting is so important to HBA members. If you are a member and you only make plans to attend one event all year, attend this one. If you do, I’m confident you will find plenty of other ways to engage successfully and profitably.”

The event will serve as something of a Member Engagement “fair,” with information breakout stations where members can learn how to access great benefits like:

  • Members-only scholarship programs and discounts;
  • Volunteer opportunities in charitable and advocacy efforts;
  • Members-only industry information, data, and resources;
  • Members-only resources available through Springfieldhba.com;
  • Live and online networking tools & opportunities;
  • Committee and Council involvement;
  • … and much, much more.
